Wily Wednesdays - Crochet Devil Horns

Hi there, remember me? It's been ages since I've posted something here! As you can imagine, I've been all consumed with my mad hot romance with horticulture, which hasn't left much time for crafting and blogging. But I have a few rare free moments tonight, so let me bring out a new and silly craft to share.

More horns!

I promised my friend Chris -- a whole year ago -- that I'd make him a crochet horned helm. I don't know why, but devil horns seemed to suit him. It arrived just in time for Halloween.

Of course I have to try them out.

Wily Wednesdays - Crochet Hat with Brim

A not-half-bad attempt at crocheting a hat without a pattern. I believe it's one of my first flying-by-the-seat-of-my-pants projects.

Wily Wednesdays - Fuzzy Hat and Shawl Set

Made this back in 2009. This hat and shawl set is crocheted with Yarn Bee's soft and fuzzy Italia yarn. Their Venetian blend is a mix of blue, yellow, pink, and purple. Very fun to work with. Also, the model is just perfect for this project.

This one's a sale item, so if you're interested in owning it, the dimension of the shawl is about 63" long, and the hat is a stretchy one size fits all.
